Take it how you want. You either give everything to social media, or it takes everything from you. In the end, you are left naked and hollow. I wanted to make this a simple composition at its core. The image is more about the message.
Times Square took forever to put together, I think the perspective is off just a bit. Overall, I think I did well with shading and depth. I am also improving on drawing/painting the human form. I wish I could trust in shapes and form and go a bit more abstract, but I think that will come with experience.
I finally finished this piece for my Aunt. It was based on a goofy picture she sent me. I am pleased with the depth I achieved and can see improvements. I am not most experienced with portraits or anatomy/characters.
Bob the Drag Queen is a legendary performer and personality. She is one of my favorite people. I kept the composition simple to focus on shading and facial dimensions. I paid close attention to not lightening her skin tone and respecting her heritage but also contrasting the gold dress and blue background.
Before I got into digital painting, I was putting together digital collages. I love digital collages, but most of them are a bit too literal/pop art for me. No diss on pop art; I create a lot in that style. But, I wanted to make a smoother, more blended collage for my profile pic.
I don't know how to explain properly this one. I wanted to display the universe and the characters at the same time (well, again) . Actually if you look closer you will notice the bench is in the movement, but the space is really big that it looks like a room and.. well anyways all im saying I got that sense of atmosphere not exactly in the way I originally wanted. I used highly contrasted orange for the feel of pollution and high temperature in the air. Well I don't know there's a lot I can share about this piece, but I would love to hear some of your opinions. Thanks!
A Bob Ross inspired painting, for the Digital Painting Studio challenge, I know composition is a bit off, but I'm still pretty satisfied with the end result, and sometimes, you just have to let go of the image and work on something else...
Digital watercolor portrait of my sweet cat, Gemma. She's a small ragdoll with crumpled ears as a result of a severe ear mite infestation. (She's a rescue from a hoarding situation.) She's the sweetest and drooliest girl.
I got some comments from the last uploads and it gave me motivation to upload more. For some of you who are interested in my work you can visit my instagram page, im more active there. ( I really really hate promoting myself like this, but I struggle to build a community of artists, so im trying every way possible) But anyways. I forced myself to draw this one when I had a really bad artblock. So I think i came up with the most mainstream scene possible. I wanted here to create more comfortable, kinda welcoming atmosphere, but I didn't do that properly In my opinion. I ended up with something completely else. In my head I had a scene where the two characters (the girl with the poncho and blonde guy (I can't come up with their names yet)) after a not the best trip, were welcomed by their old friend in her house, for some break and calm hour.
This is my first digital drawing which I did on ibisPaint X aap on my tab....I have been wondering for long that what to do with her hair ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭ ....if any helps and suggestions are given then most welcomed ( ◜‿◝ )♡ as I still am still learning(◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
